Terms and Conditions of Holiday Occupancy

Puffin Cottage, Crail (Fife Short Lets FI01426P)

By signing the Booking Agreement, the Holidaymaker and Their Party agrees to the following Terms and Conditions of Holiday Occupancy:

The Property is available furnished for Holiday Accommodation for the Period shown on the Tariff.
Bookings are from 4.00 p.m. on arrival day to 10.00 a.m. on departure day in respect of the Period unless agreed otherwise.
Electricity and gas are included in the Tariff. Under no circumstances may electric vehicles be charged at the property. There are public charging facilities in Crail for this purpose.
No persons other than those set out in the Booking form shall be permitted to occupy the Property. Occupancy is restricted to a maximum of 4 adults and 1 child and cannot be exceeded. The person making the booking is aged 18 or over.
To leave the Property at the end of the Period in a clean and tidy condition. To turn off all appliances and leave the property secure as instructed.
To replace any breakages, damages or losses or reimburse the Owners for such breakages, damages or losses as stipulated. There will be a charge for any lost keys. Any soaked or damaged mattresses to be replaced by the Holidaymaker.
No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere in the cottage or the garden. Barbeques are not permitted.
To use the Property solely for its purpose as Holiday Accommodation.
To absolve the Owners of any responsibility for accident, illness, injury or losses sustained while on the Property, however caused.
Guests may bring one dog free of charge. They agree to keep pets under strict and proper control especially with regard to conditions 5 and 6. Dogs not to be left alone at any time in or near the Property. Animal hairs to be removed from carpets and furniture.
£200 (‘the Deposit’) is payable at time of confirmation of booking . The Deposit will be non-returnable in the event of later cancellation. The balance of tariff is payable not later than 30 days before the Holiday Occupancy commences. In the event of the balance of tariff not being received timeously, the Owners reserve the right to cancel the Holiday Occupancy without further notice and without any refund of the Deposit already paid. In the event, due to unforeseen circumstances, that the Property is not available at the time of occupation, the Owners shall only be liable to refund the holidaymaker the monies received at the date. Liability shall not in any circumstances exceed such refund. We recommend guests obtain a holiday cancellation insurance policy.
The Owners and their agents retain the right of access for essential maintenance.
